Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT-imageCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that is very practical.  The focus is on changing thinking or behavior patterns by focusing on thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, and actions that impact the way we behavior.

Clients work with a therapist to identify problems and develop a new strategy for handling them. It’s a very active process which often includes homework or practice outside of sessions.
